Welcome to the DRACAQ website
The Demolishers, Recyclers & Asbestos Contractors Association of Queensland Inc. (DRACAQ) was established
in February 2006 to represent the broader resource recovery sector.
Our ultimate aims include the promotion of safe work practices for the demolition and asbestos removal industries
and the minimisation of unnecessary landfilling achieved through increased recycling of valuable resources and
materials resulting from deconstruction activities. DRACAQ has adopted a Code of Best Practice to assist members
in developing and conducting their own business activities in line with the aims of the association.
