DRACAQ Membership

Demolishers, recyclers and asbestos removal contractors, and businesses associated with these industries, are invited to become members of DRACAQ.

Membership Categories
Ordinary Member:    Organisation holding Queensland Government Business Certificate to Perform Prescribed Activity specifying Type of Work as demolition or asbestos removal, OR organisation holding Queensland or Local Government licence or certification for recycling activities.

Associate Member:    Organisation whose business activities are related to demolishing, recycling or asbestos removal such as waste management, garden bag operators, training providers, testing laboratories, environmental consultants, occupational hygienists, machinery and equipment suppliers.

How to Join
Download and complete the Application for Membership and forward with a copy of your relevant licences and/or certificates as requested on the application form.  The appropriate membership fee must be forwarded with the application.

Applications are tabled at the next Management Committee meeting for consideration and applicants are advised in writing of the outcome of their application.

Applicants should familiarise themselves with the contents of the Code of Conduct and Code of Best Practice before signing the Application.

All membership queries should be directed to the Administrator on 07 3077 8823 or email info@demolishersassocqld.com.au.  Applicants should contact the Administrator prior to submitting their application to confirm the correct membership fee and licences required.

Member Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Code of Best Practice.
• Attend meetings and information forums.
• Advise DRACAQ management of any matters which may impact on the organisation’s objectives and/or activities.
• Promote DRACAQ and its objectives in a positive manner.
• Pay membership renewals by the due date.
• Respond promptly to requests from the association for information/assistance.
